S1 Interdisciplinary Islamic Studies

The Interdisciplinary Islamic Studies Study Program, or SII Study Program, is a Study Program established in 2017, accredited in 2020, which aims to produce Bachelor of Religion who is able to have an understanding of the Qur’an and Al-Hadith as the main source of Islamic teachings, has the ability to think and master the methodology of Islamic Religion, has a complete understanding of Islamic Religion, both faith (Tauhid), Islam (Fiqh-Syari’ah) and Ihsan (Sufism), and is responsive and understands contemporary Islamic social issues. So that the curriculum is compiled by combining Islamic science which consists of three basic principles of Islam (Iman-Islam and Ihsan) and social humanities.

In 2022 this Study Program developed its curriculum by including the Independent Campus Learning (MBKM) curriculum. This curriculum is prepared for semesters 6 and 7 after students are considered capable and understand the basic concepts of Islam which consist of the three basic principles of Islam, Iman-Islam and Ihsan, so that this curriculum aims to prepare students to enter the complex world of work and social religion in Indonesia. In the 6th and 7th semesters, students can apply to participate in the Ministry of Education’s MBKM selection or conduct structured internships in various agencies and companies.

Learning Outputs

  1. Able to apply and integrate scientific knowledge and pesantrenan values by utilizing science and technology to be able to provide answers to various problems that develop in society;
  2. Able to memorize the Qur’an at least 4 Juz;
  3. Able to apply the knowledge of Arabic and English in reading and understanding classical and modern texts,
  4. Able to apply principles, ideas, and creative ideas in interdisciplinary Islamic studies on halal development and halal technopreneurship professionally in various media and technologies;
  5. Able to become a pioneer and mobilizer of the community or congregation in the field of Islamic and social studies;
  6. Able to solve problems through research using research methodology and report and publish the results effectively as an alternative to solving problems in the field of interdisciplinary Islamic studies.
