UNU Jogja Prepares for Excellent Accreditation, LPM Strengthens Faculty and Directorate Quality through PPEPP

Yogyakarta, Indonesia - As a young university with global competitiveness, Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Yogyakarta (UNU Jogja), through its Directorate of Quality Assurance (LPM), continues to undertake strategic efforts to improve the university’s overall quality.

One of these efforts is carried out through the Implementation of the Determination, Implementation, Evaluation, Control, and Improvement (PPEPP) cycle with faculties, directorates, and the university leadership.

“This initiative is part of our serious efforts to achieve excellent accreditation in 2027,” said Director of LPM UNU Jogja, Dr. Nurul Salehawati, on Wednesday, September 16.

Dr. Nurul explained that the PPEPP process was conducted separately with each faculty and directorate to establish a shared understanding and determine common directions and strategies.

“We conducted PPEPP sessions separately to identify issues, build a shared understanding, and engage in deeper discussions so that our goal of achieving excellent accreditation can be realized,” she said.

During the meetings, LPM and each respective unit evaluated the achievement of established quality indicators. They also identified unmet targets and determined follow-up actions to be undertaken by each unit.

Dr. Nurul said that, based on findings from meetings with 12 study programs and eight directorates, LPM will continue the evaluation process with the university leadership to formulate follow-up measures and quality-strengthening strategies for each unit as part of preparations for excellent accreditation in 2027.

“Although this is still a long process, it requires the commitment and focused attention of all units. Therefore, these findings will serve as a basis for determining improvement measures and ensuring that every unit shares the same direction in strengthening quality toward excellent accreditation,” she concluded.
