UNU Jogja Pencak Silat Team Wins Multiple Medals at the 2025 Surakarta Open National Championship

Solo, Indonesia – The Pencak Silat team from Nahdlatul Ulama University (UNU) Jogja achieved remarkable success at the 2025 Surakarta Open National Championship, held in Solo from October 17–29, 2025.

In this prestigious national competition, the UNU Jogja team proudly brought home three gold medals, three silver medals, and four bronze medals. This achievement reflects the students’ dedication, perseverance, and strong fighting spirit in representing their university at the national level.

The gold medalists are:

1. Aginda Bela Aulia Zahra (Elementary School Teacher Education, 2024) – Fighter B Women’s 50–55 kg

2. Ahmad Ubaidillah Ali Saputra (Agribusiness, 2023) – Fighter G Men’s 75–80 kg

3. M. Fadlan Nanda N. C. (Informatics, 2023) – Fighter D Men’s 60–65 kg
 

The silver medalists are:

1. Dhany Dwi Saputra (Electrical Engineering, 2024) – Fighter A Men’s 45–50 kg

2. Syahra Ikmala Nur Azizah (Food Technology, 2024) – Fighter B Women’s 50–55 kg

3. Astriani Naila Putri (Elementary School Teacher Education, 2024) – Fighter A Women’s 45–50 kg

 

The bronze medalists are:

1. Deshinta Nuraini Zhuan Allifian (Informatics, 2023) – Fighter Under 45 kg Women’s. 

2. Tasmi Amaliah (Pharmacy, 2023) – Fighter Under 45 kg Women’s

3. Nova Anugrahini (Informatics, 2023) – Fighter A Women’s 45–50 kg

4. Dimas Ananta Kusuma (Electrical Engineering, 2023) – Fighter B Men’s 50–55 kg

UNU Jogja Rector Widya Priyahita P. expressed her deep appreciation for the outstanding achievement of the Pencak Silat team. She emphasized that the success was the result of the students’ hard work, discipline, and determination in their continuous training.
