Eight PGSD Alumni Accepted into the 2025 Kemendikdasmen Pre-Service Teacher Professional Education (PPG) Program

Yogyakarta, Indonesia — A total of eight alumni of the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program (Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar/PGSD) have been officially accepted as participants in the 2025 Pre-Service Teacher Professional Education (PPG) Program organized by the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen).

The eight PGSD alumni who successfully passed the selection process are M. Naufal Hanif, Erizal Afif F., Rahmat Nurfauzi, Muhammad Rafli, Hafidz Huzaifah, Winda Puspita S., Misbahul Munir, and Vellycia Fathan N.

“Of the eight alumni, six are graduates who participated in the 2025 graduation ceremony, while the remaining two are alumni from previous cohorts. This achievement reflects the quality of PGSD graduates who are able to compete at the national level in the selection of professional teacher candidates,” said Mustamid, M.Pd., Head of the PGSD Study Program.

According to data from Kemendikdasmen, the total number of applicants for the 2025 Pre-Service PPG Program reached 80,215 participants who underwent the substantive selection process. From this number, 24,994 candidates advanced to the interview stage, resulting in the selection of 19,426 teacher candidates nationwide.

Mustamid added that the success of the eight PGSD alumni is a noteworthy achievement and is expected to motivate other PGSD students and alumni to continuously enhance their competencies and professionalism as future educators.

“This achievement also reinforces PGSD’s commitment to producing professional teachers who are ready to contribute to the advancement of elementary education in Indonesia,” he concluded. [Latifah]
