The Faculty of Dirasah Islamiyah is a faculty that was established with the aim of improving the quality of Islamic religious undergraduate resources. The graduates of this Faculty are expected to have the ability to observe, examine, analyze and solve societal problems and be ready to do community service. This faculty is supported by 10 lecturers who are alumni of the best universities from within and outside the country, who have a wide network and a mature scientific background in Islamic boarding schools. To strengthen and support students' knowledge, the Faculty has full support to organize co-curricular and extra-curricular programs through UNU Yogyakarta and other pesantren in Yogyakarta.

  • Organizing Islamic Studies based on NUs as a value system and boarding school as a model in the high-end-campus conception.

  • Organizing Islamic Studies based on equal distribution of public access that produces entrepreneurial cadres.

  • Carrying out research in the field of Islamic Studies within the framework of innovative learning hubs that produce science and technology.

  • Carrying out community service in the field of participatory Islamic Studies in the context of strengthening community organizations and developing partnership equality.

Interdisciplinary Islamic Studies

Combines Islamic sciences with social humanities, integrating Qur'an, Hadith studies, and contemporary Islamic issues.
